In the life of the Festival Volunteer Center, mentors play an important role. Being a mentor is a special volunteer role where their primary task is to interact with their fellow volunteers, to potentially become their best friends, advocates for their interests, or those they need most.

Moreover, they act as the right-hand individuals to coordinators throughout the season and assist the group leaders in their work.

For a mentor to grow into these tasks, they need to learn how to communicate with their team, colleagues, organize team-building activities, schedule tasks, handle unexpected situations with a smile, prepare for festival conditions, and since we work in teams, they must know when and from whom to seek assistance.

We are looking for you if

  • you’re a good problem solver and enjoy challenges.
  • you research things and find answers to your questions.
  • you’re constantly seeking ways to improve.
  • you’re not daunted by being bombarded with questions by 30 volunteers at once.

The market price of the program is 400,000 HUF, for which we only ask for a gross contribution of 40,000 HUF from you, which will be refunded at the end of the season upon successful completion of the program. The Festival Volunteer Center covers the additional costs.
