Volunteer: A person who engages in unpaid activities individually or in groups, regularly or occasionally, domestically or internationally, for the common good, out of personal will, and without financial compensation.
Festival Volunteer Centre The Festival Volunteer Centre organises volunteer programs for Hungary’s largest festivals. It serves as the venue for presenting the Festival Volunteer Program at the festival.
Volunteer Base: The community space of the Festival Volunteer Center, as well as the location for administration.
On-site Leader: The staff member representing the event is responsible for assigning volunteer positions and continuously monitoring their work throughout their shift, ensuring smooth and efficient collaboration.
Host Organisation: The organization entrusted by the event with the coordination of volunteers. The Host Organization is in a contractual relationship with the Volunteers.
Mentor: The direct supporter of volunteers, responsible for facilitating smoother communication and faster problem-solving between volunteers, coordinators, and on-site leaders.
Coordinator: The person responsible for coordinating and administrating volunteers.
On-site Supervisor: At concerts, they serve as the volunteers’ direct support, responsible for smoother communication and quicker problem-solving between volunteers, coordinators, and on-site leaders.
